You've found a multi-disciplinary fashion marketing professional who believes intention driven entrepreneurship is the new era.

Creative. Dreamer. Overachiever. That self motivated small town gal with big goals. My first job in textiles was hands on with sewing, sales, and store displays. An opportunity to merchandise the head office location (wholesale rep meetings met w/ success) set my sights on fashion marketing. My career progressed from apparel sales to visual merchandising, trainer and team leader to regional merchandise manager for western Canadian retail chains.

As head office liase, I've worked coast- to-coast alongside sales directors, retail buyers and inventory teams to ideate national directives, translate lifestyle assortments, plan brand-driven store layouts, and in turn, prioritize maximum visual impact & ultimate productivity.

Each week I'd embark on the task of leading store managers and visual merchandisers with store layout initiatives and unique to their branch optimization strategies. At the top of the corporate ladder, it was a strategic leap of faith that took me to my next chapter. I joined Blanche Macdonald's fashion faculty and pivoted seamlessly into freelance. At the core of every project I thrive on solution driven ideation while scaling big ideas into our small business community. My clients love their outcomes & all the attention. Our fashion marketing students feel supported & empowered. I can't think of anything more fulfilling. Also, fashion ;)

SELENA

Based in Vancouver, BC , Selena brings a highly trained aesthetic eye and extensive fashion marketing background to retailers.

Selena played an essential role in cultivating fashion retail visual merchandising teams. She's established employee training programs, facilitated professional development workshops, and placed a dozen womenswear store openings on the Canadian retail map.

Fun fact. Her first sole proprietorship involved creating customized marketing materials and stationery for local businesses.

Selena holds a PIDP Honors in Adult Education and VCC Trainer certification. She is a Blanche Macdonald Fashion Merchandising (Marketing) alumni who enjoys the other side of the podium.
A decades invested educator, Selena merges foundational studies with current content to meet the demands of the hands-on learner-centered curriculum.
